All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders in Akoko South West Local Government Area of Ondo State at the weekend summoned an emergency meeting of all governorship aspirants in the area.
The meeting was hosted by former Deputy Governor Ali Olanusi, an indigene of Supare-Akoko and a Board of Trustees (BOT) member.
Last week, an aspirant, Segun Abraham, was reportedly attacked by some hoodlums, who smashed the windscreens of four vehicles in his convoy.
At the meeting were APC elders, including Chiefs M.A Akeju; Felix Ayegbusi; Mrs O.Tanimola and Julius Akinnigbagbe.
Four governorship aspirants were present at the meeting -Victor Olabimtan, Ganny Dauda, Tunji Abayomi and Abraham.
