The Kogi State governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, on Tuesday approved the appointment of Mrs Folashade Ayoade, as Secretary to the State GovTuesday (SSG).
Apart from the SSG, the governor also appointed Alhaji Momoh Jubril as the new Accountant General of the state.
The appointments which were contained in a statement by the Chief of Staff (COS), Mr Edward Onoja, showed that 31 others were also appointed into various offices including the Chairman of the Correspondents Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists in the state, Ademu Idakwo, who was appointed the Senior Special Assistant on print media.
The governor appointed Rtd Gen.
Paul Okutimo Olusola as State Security Adviser; Bar. Ibrahim Sani Mohammed as State Legal Adviser and Abdulkareem Jamiu Mohammed as Director General, Protocol.
On his media team, the governor named Petra Onyebule and Gbenga Olorunpomi as SSAs on Electronic and New Media respectively.
Also appointed include 20 Special advisers to the governor and five special assistants to the deputy governor.
The appointments of the special advisers are to take effect from March 1 after a screening at the Government House, while others are with immediate effect.
