According to the reports on the channels TV, President Goodluck Jonathan has again sacked another parastatal head.
The announcement was made by the presidency around 1pm on Monday 18th of May 2015. Nigeria Investment Promotion Council (NIPC) was headed by Hajia Saratu Umar until her sudden relieve of duty as the Executive secretary of the afformentioned organization.
The presidency has also announced the replacement of the out-going Saratu with Uju Hassan-Baba who will be working as acting Executive Secretary till further notice.
Since decalration of Muhammedu Buhari as the winner of the 2015 presidential elections, President Jonathan has embarked on a sacking and appointing politiking.
the following are the people who have been sacked by the out-going president within the spate of 3 weeks;
- Inspector-general of Police, Sulieman Abba and replaced by Solomon Arase.
- The Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Mr. Abdullahi and replaced by Sanusi Lamido Ado Bayero.
- The director general of the National Sports Commission (NSC) Gbenga Elegbeleye.
- Approves the appointment of Peter Obi as the new Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
