Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose, has been warned not to get carried away by his escape from impeachment by former All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmakers.

The General Overseer of Hour of Mercy Prayer Ministry, Prophet Muyideen Kasali, warned the governor to pray harder to escape crises lying ahead of him and his deputy, Kolapo Olusola.

The cleric, who spoke on Wednesday during a special prayer programme organized by his church, declared that “Fayose should not relax in prayer and supplication because the battle is not over yet.”

Kasali said: “I want to urge Governor Fayose to continue seeking the face of God in a new dimension. He shouldn’t relax yet because the battle isn’t yet over.

“He must, with all humility and repentance, seek God’s face for him to conquer the enemies outside and within. He needs a divine intervention and serious prayers.”

Kasali also hailed President Muhammadu Buhari for ordering the relocation of the Military Command to deal with the Boko Haram insurgency.

He said the step would help in stemming the tides of killing and displacement of Nigerians from their homes in the northeast part of the country.

Ksali said: “The relocation of the operational services of the Nigeria Army will fast-track action on how to rout Boko Haram because it has become a problem to our nation.

“No President will treat insurgency that had led to the killing of over 30,000 Nigerians and rendered about three million homeless with levity and the President had really shown that he is sincere with his electioneering campaign to make Nigeria safe for all citizens.

“Apart from the wanton killings and destruction, Boko Haram had destroyed property worth several billions of naira in Nigeria across ethnic and religious lines.

“Our nation is being confronted with too many socio-economic and political problems at this time to be witnessing all this.

“Enough of these senseless killings and this relocation will make Nigerian Army to be aware that the fight is a full war and should not be taken as a part time struggle.”
