Edo State House of Assembly has sacked the suspended Council Chairmen of Etsako Central, Mr Emmanuel Momoh and Oredo, Mr Osaro Obaze and directed that their deputies be sworn in as substantive chairmen.
The House also directed that the suspended council chairmen of Egor, Mr Victor Enobakhare and his Orhionmwon counterpart, Mr Roland Ebierhotome be reinstated.
The directives flowed from the recommendation of the House Standing Committee on Rules, Business and Government House.
The Committee in its findings said allegations against the sacked chairmen were proven to be true.
On the other hand, the committee stated that allegations against the reinstated chairmen could not be proved beyond reasonable doubt.
The House presided over by the Speaker; Mr Victor Edoror thereafter directed that copies of the resolution be sent to appropriate quarters.
He further explained that by the pronouncement of the House, Oredo and Etsako Central Local Government chairmen had seized to be chairmen of their respective councils.
