Eko Foundation, a non-political, socio cultural outfit has commended the national leader of All Progressive Congress, APC, for the dogged determination to rescue the entire country from the age long pangs of poverty due to poor leadership which held the fortunes of the society and the nation, by the jugular for so long.
At the just concluded monthly meeting of the Foundation, its founding chairman, Alhaji Hakeem Damola, alongside its President, Professor Wole Smith and the foundation’s Secretary, Mr Tayo Sasanya, congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari, the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State, and his deputy Idiat Adebule, and the party for the resounding victories recorded at the last election.
The foundation appealed to the teeming populace to fervently support the new governments in order to effect the needed change the country desires.
“To this end, since Nigerians should not expect miracles over night, it therefore behoves that all hands must be on deck for a successful realization of this noble project to bring the society and the great nation, Nigeria back to her very rightful place, she humbly deserves”.
