El-Rufai to Apostle Suleiman: Mention the date I will die

Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, has challenged those who claimed he would die to mention the date if they are truly prophets.

The Governor who was peaking on the proposed religious preaching bill, face-off with trade unions, among others said, “I have not seen anyone talking about Islam actually. Most of the people that say I would die, as if I would not die, are people who call themselves Christian clergy.

“Of course, I will die. If that apostle is truly an apostle, he should mention the day I will die. There is nothing in that law that prevents or infringes the practice of religion. It seeks to ensure that those that preach religion are qualified, trained and certified by their peers to do it.

“And some sections of the media have made it as if the law was drafted against Christianity. It is most irresponsible and I have nothing to say except to leave the matter to God.

“It was the report of two or three of these that compelled us in the security council to ask the question, whether or not there was a law that regulates preaching. Then we were told there was a law; since 1984 after the Maitasine problems, the administration   passed the law.

“It was subsequently amended several times to increase the fine and the imprisonment term. This is a living problem and we know it. Christian priests, the ones I know, go to seminary and spend so many years there, study under a more experienced Reverend to learn what to say and what not to say.

“Religious leaders don’t preach hatred; they preach peace, tolerance and love. But today in my religion of Islam, anybody can wake up and start a sect; there is no control. In those days, from Islamiyya School, if you chose that line, you needed to study more books.

“After that, you would go to the East (Borno area) for more studies and training. Then from there, you would go to a mosque and begin to call people to prayer before you become an imam in any mosque. Before you became an imam of a Friday mosque, the community must agree that you were well learned and competent. But now, everyone can build a mosque, put up loudspeakers, call himself an imam and start disturbing people at night.

“A priest that has gone through thorough teachings and training would not go and ask people to cause trouble and kill each other. They are trained men of God. In Christendom today, we all know that some people would drink something overnight and wake up the next day and claim they are apostles, that God had spoken to them.

“You could not disproof that because you were not there with him and he would start to collect followers. When he begins to preach hatred, what can you do? Is it the society we want? This is the question. The logic behind this law is to strengthen the 1984 laws so as to regulate and ensure that those that are given the opportunity to preach at least know what they are doing, they have a level of responsibility to develop the society rather than divide it. This is our goal; we don’t have anything against any religion or anybody”.

Nobody has the monopoly of life how would a prophet be saying a thing like that. Instead of praying for his repentance. El Rufai won’t die but live. He has open heart. The religious impunities just too much in this country. Truth needs to be told. He is saying they need licence before practice in his state after all all churches registered with corporate affairs commission. Why are they fighting him for regulating their activities.

Mikoko Kachy @ I am a Christian but bible didn’t say we should predict the death of our enemies but pray for their repentance and get them changed. El Rufai bill was not against Christians alone. In fact the bill is more against the mosques that are preaching with mega phone in the morning. I don’t practice my religion with sentiment. If a Moslem does something good I will appreciate and if Christian does something bad I will condemn it. God does not teach us to be sentiment or wish somebody dead without repeatence

Modey Simon. Christ taught us to give to Ceasar what belongs to Ceasar. Meaning we must always respect our leaders. If El Rufai introduces curfew in Kaduna must you insist you will go out in name of religion. El Rufai is not stopping Christianity or Islam in Kaduna is only regulating religious activities. They regulate religions in U.S. ISREAL UK AND SAUDI too Nigeria can not claim to be more advance and religiously superior to all these countries. We have seen how people dupe and kill in this country in the name of religion. Government cannot afford to leave everything to faith

Men of GOD can predict a death or life of any one eg prophet Jeremiah, Isaiah, even JESUS saw a tree which did not bear fruit He prophesied that it will bear fruit again. If the prophesy came from GOD it will happen unless if he repeat and ask for forgiveness and mercy of GOD like people of ninivah when GOD told Jonah to go and tell them that they have 40days. Being a Governor can not shop it if it come from GOD.

Take census of these your so called pastors/prophets who predicted for last elections, how many of them were accurate? Is God author of confusion? God says in the Holy Book that ‘for all you get, get understanding’ Majority of you lack understanding. Stop defending religions & pastors/imams rather defend the word of God

You insult my religion and I inturn insult yours.I blv dat Jesus(Anabi Issa) and Anabi Muhammad are busy winning and dinning together in heaven while u guys are here bugging your heads about an issue dat is already settled in heaven, how many of u can boast of going to heaven here? Nasir El-Rufai
      El-Rufai’s religious bill is Biblical—-Agbese
A Civil rights activist, Comrade Philip Agbese has thrown his
weight behind the Kaduna State Religious Activities Regulation
Bill describing it as a biblical concept that was initiated by
      Apostle Paul in the Bible.
Speaking to our correspondent in a phone conversation, the
United Kingdom based activist said “Governor Nasir El Rufai is
more of a prophet of God than those who have predicted his
      death.
“Anyone who wants El Rufai to die does not have a copy of
the New Testament or lacks basic knowledge of simple
      comprehension or both.
“The prophet calling for El Rufai’s death is not only a joker
playing the brain cards of prosperity on his followers but as
well guilty of the offenses that are enclosed in the letters of
the Bill already sent to the Kaduna State House of Assembly.
“These very persons were the same goons who collected our
had earned money in foreign currency from former President
GOODLUCK Jonathan that he would win the Presidential
      election.
“Unfortunately, when the results turned upside down they still
shamelessly attempted to deceive their congregants that it
was God who changed his mind. How do we explain the flip
flops in their prophetic narrative when those calling for El
Rufai’s head had predicted that he will never become
Governor, that Okorocha will lose his second term and that
GOODLUCK Jonathan was going to win again?” He queried.
Supporting the move by El-Rufai, he informed that it was
Apostle Paul in the Bible who encouraged Christians that all
men and women should learn to conduct themselves in an
orderly manner. Whoever doesn’t respect this admonishment
cannot in the first instance address him/herself as a Christian
anywhere in the world? He advised that the Bill when passed
into law shall restrict what he termed “cut and join Pastors
and Imams” from misleading people in Nigeria should be
endorsed throughout the federation and allowed to stand in
order to bring about sanity in Nigeria.
According to Agbese, Nigeria has the highest number of
churches and mosques in the world ;yet we still find it difficult
to live together in peace and harmony due to hate preachings
and sermons that have become a part and parcel of us.
Meanwhile he has called on genuine prophets of God to pray
for the Governor to succeed in his quest to protect the
citizens of Kaduna State irrespective of religious or ethnic
      affiliations.

What if it was his doctor that told him that he has just few months to live will he ask for the date?. Instead of praying against it even tho it’s true or lies he’s busy asking for date. Ok kontinu.

What i wrote against is d certification nd qualification of dos who preach religion as contained in d el rufai new law. Because such is not obtainable in Christian Religion as it is only God dt chooses those dt serves him nd not a mere flesh. And for U speaking against d position of d man of God, don’t forget dt it is Written in 2Kings 1:10 dt if i be a man of God, let fire come down nd consume those dt were sent to kill Elijah and they were consumed. Herod also ended up when he is persecuting d Church in Acts 12 :20-25. El rufai is toing dt part nd he will soon end like odas for it is written dt even d gate of hell shall not prevail over Christianity or stop it. So who is Elrufi

El-Rufai should go and sit inside gutter. What right does a carnal man like him have to decide how Christianity should be practiced in Nigeria? Is he God? What does he know about Christianity? For his information, the only religion that practice hatred and killing is Islam not Christianity. Boko haram , islamic fanatics, hamajuris are all Islamic killer squard, if he wants to control and regulates their activities , we will understand because its his religion. Islamic religion is d only religion that’s causing problems in this country therefore he should not generise his comment. Christianity is spiritual. Nobody tries to stop d activities of Christians and survives it. El-Rufai should face his political career and stop interfering in spiritual matters.

Its so amazing that most of u talking against this prophet are ignorant Christians no wonder d bible says u err because u no not d scripture. Have u forgotten what d bible said ” I will honours d word of my prophet. Its said, u shall decree a thing and it shall be established in heaven it also said, whatever thing yea shall ask in my name, I will give unto u. The prophet has asked by making a decree against El-Rufai not because he has any personal issues with him but because El-Rufai is fighting God’s people, d people Jesus Christ was crucified for, and u are calling him a false prophet? U think God will not grand him that request? Let me tell u, God has answers it already, it will only take some time for it to manifest, wait and see. Pls it doesn’t always go well with those who insult men of God weather they’re fake or not. The bible says judge not so that u won’t be judged. Leave it for God, He will judge in due time.

For all those who are calling pastors fake, U and i know dt Islam nd everything about it is fake dt is y dey have not converted any soul by conviction rather by force nd conquest. a confused religion. No wonder y there is killing and crises everywhere Islam is practiced all over d world. u know it as a fact dt Islam is a man made religion invented by Muhammad to deceive ppl especially women nd d poor. A religion where women who are d symbols of perfection are treated like rags. all of u rantin rubbish here were either directly or indirectly converted into islam by force. It is either u are forced into it or ur parents were forced into it. y is there an offense called apostasy in Islam if it is a tru religion? apostasy is there in islam to prevent dos that have realised dt Islam is fake from leaving d religion. if islam has good things to offer, it will not make it a crime punishable with death if anyone decides to leave d religion. Islam is d only religion dt admitted its imperfections in Qur’an chapter 10:94 where it referred its faithfuls to a tru nd a better religion if they are confused in relation to anything written down in Qur’an. It baffles me dt after all dis killings, crises nd flaws in Islam , some persons are still defending d religion rather than repenting nd embracing light nd salvation. U still have time my ppl to repent

@Nnamdi; Plz how did u Christians come up the name ‘bible’? Who taught you going to church every sunday? Who taught singing and dancing method of worshipping? I challenge you to ask ur pastor have he seen the original scriptures the bible was innovated from? You learn English to know the bible because u ain’t an English man. The original scriptures the bible was written from is missing in most part of the world today, majority of Christians have not seen it. What we have today ain’t Jesus christ religion but a man innovated religion from jesus christ scriptures. The English bible today have been written and translated by different people. The first version of the scriptures made by direct translation from the original Hebrew and Greek, and first to be printed was the work of William Tyndale. He met bitter opposition. He was accused of wilfully perverting the meaning of the scriptures and his New Testaments were ordered to be burned as “untrue translation” He was finally betrayed into the hands of his enemies and in October 1536 was publicly executed and burned at the stake. Yet Tyndale’s work became the foundation of subsequent English versions. So many of them can’t even begin to start mentioning. This is how the man made book called bible have so many subtractions of God words and addition of man words. Today islam has no room for mans innovation without true muslims knowing. All this crises today is lack of true knowledge. Many muslims have been diverted through innovations due to they lack to seek different sources of knowledge they just believe whatever their preacher wrongly inform them. So pathetic this what satan instigates in us.

He should go a step further to fix d ti e and date.in retrospect El Rufai is challenging God and if they are true Men of God the time to say if I be a real man of God………………the time is now.what am saying is biblical and scriptural. See, the battle of over 400 prophets of Baal and Elijah. Here Elijah showed he serves a living God.its time for the Christian clergy to take the gauntlet and challenge El Rufai and his ilks on this matter.

El-Rufa’i simply threw a challenge to your so called prophets, who prophesied that he will die to tell him when? You should be urging your prophets to talk to God as they deceive gullible creatures of your type, to prove that they are true prophets, simple. If the religion bill is to the two or other religion aswell, then there should be reason to condemn anyone. But if it is for Christians only, then let the prophecy or prediction become reality to whomsoever is going against the followers of God. Simple

It is God that gives prophecies. If God has not told him the date, how would he mention date? A prophet is not all-knowing, but God‘s mouth-piece! If the prophecy is genuine, just sign and tell your family to prepare for your burial.

No body has ever seen God physically but we have faith and can see His tremendous actions everyday.
Heaven will be full of surprise, the believe and actions of many people will land them in hell, which means they have come to this world for nothing and have gained nothing-even when they live in chrome mansions. The bible says the heart of man is desperately wicked, who can know it. Nobody! Can hide under any umbrella to deceive God, we can only use perverse laws and academics to deceive ourselves. Whatever anybody is doing, he or she should continue but everybody will face the Almighty God one day; then you will know whether you are right or wrong.
Anybody that want to go against the gospel should do, people speaking ill of the governor should continue but God that sees everything will judge accordingly.
