I wasn’t attacked, says Ondo APC aspirant

AN All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Ondo State, Segun Abraham, yesterday denied a report that he was attacked again in Akure, the state capital.

According to the report, the thugs attacked Abraham because he refused to give them money before holding a meeting with party members in Akure South.

The aspirant, who was attacked two weeks ago by some hoodlums in Oka, Akoko South West, alleged that the same person, who sent thugs after him at Oka, instigated some boys in Akure to disrupt his meeting.

“The thugs were waiting to attack me and disrupt my meeting but things changed when they noticed I am a gentleman.

“I was not attacked in Akure, the same people who organised the attack in Oka, gave money to some thugs in Akure. “They were at the venue. The thugs turned out to be helpful, they led me to the venue  and made sure there was no noise throughout the programme.”
