Oshiomhole, who disclosed this in an interview with Vanguard, said the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, should forget about winning the state in the forthcoming governorship election, as they had nothing to campaign with ahead of the election.
He said: “There are some things I was clear about when I came to office. First, was to reorder the politics of the state. For me, that was the starting point because this state plays host to some of the most vicious godfathers in Nigeria’s political history. Where electoral fraud is celebrated and where the people are dismissed as irrelevant for the purpose of electioneering and where chieftains advertise that there are no vacancies even on the eve of the election.”
