The Kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has directed the people of the state to nominate nominees for the positions of commissioners and special advisers who will work with the Governor AbdulFatah Ahmed-led administration in the quest to deliver the shared prosperity agenda in Kwara State.
According to the guidelines for nomination contained in a statement by its spokesperson, Sulyman Buhari, on Tuesday, three nominees are to come from each of the 16 Local Government Areas of the state.
The party said out of the three nominees, there must be at least a female and a youth.
It advised the councils to ensure fairness and equity in the nomination process so that all areas within them are adequately and fairly represented.
It also said in the nomination of potential commissioners and special advisers, the LGAs should consider loyalty, experience, education, competence and integrity.
The leadership of APC also called for nominations into the LGA caucus of the party.
It said six nominees are expected from each LGA, out of which four nominees will be selected and inaugurated into the APC LGA caucus.
