Its was gathered that four persons aboard the security vehicle had escorted the Regional Overseer to Lagos and were on their way back to Benin when it skidded off the road into the forest.
Rescuers say the accident was worsened, when they rushed the remaining fatally injured two to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital where they were told that workers were on strike, a situation that further aggravated the pains of the victims and slimmed the likelihood of their survival.
