Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State is set to construct an ultra-modern High Court building in the state it emerged last weekend.
This was as the government also revealed that it was on the lookout for suitable and qualified companies to bid for the renovation of its lodge situated in Abuja and the completion of the construction of Block C near the Secretariat Buildings along Sapele Road in Benin City.
The foregoing revelations were made in a statement from the Office of the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, which also noted that interested companies in the construction of a new High Court Building are encouraged to apply.
In addition, the statement said, “A tenderer may tender for one or more lots, but the bids must be submitted in separate envelops. All tender must be written in English language and dominated in Naira only while telephonic, telegraphic, telex, facsimile or e-mailed tenders will not be accepted”.
The statement further explained that the physical address for the collection of the tender is the office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Sokponba Road adding that the closing time for submission is the 2nd of May this year.
